On the first day, God created the dog and said, sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this I will give you a life span of twenty years. The dog said, “That’s a long time to be barking. How

about only ten years and I’ll give you back the other ten?” And God said that it was good.
On the second day, God created the monkey and said, “Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I’ll give you a twenty-year life span.”
The monkey said, “Monkey tricks for twenty years? That’s a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the dog did?”
And God again said that it was good.
On the third day, God created the cow and said, “You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer’s family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years.”
The cow said, “That’s kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I’ll give back the other forty?”
And God agreed it was good.
On the fourth day, God created humans and said, “Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I’ll give you twenty years.”
But the human said, “Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?”
“Okay,” said God, “You asked for it.”
So that is why for our first twenty years, we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years, we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next ten years, we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years, we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.

Is Money Truly the Root of All Evil?

The simple answer is no. Then, why is everyone going around shouting that it is the root of All Evil? Because they were conditioned via massive repetition that such is what they should believe in. But let's be serious for a bit here, are You really going to believe those whom would literally sacrifice their very lives for those talking heads on the Television? If You aren't, then good job but, the belief that Money is the root of All Evil is taught in the educational system to the point where it's repeatedly drilled into Your brain. In layman's terms: Unless You believe otherwise, You will now believe that money is the root of All Evil because you've heard it so many times over and over again from every source possible, especially from those whom You may hold dear to You.

Let's start with what Money actually is. As some of You people may know, it's the created storage mechanism for value. Which is why it buys things everywhere in the world, especially in America(One of the few 1st world nations left, that will change quite soon by the way). May I ask a question to You? Good, is Money a living entity? Can it breathe and/or reproduce on it's own accord? The answer to both question should obviously be no. If for any reason You answered yes to the previous 2 questions, then Your mind is in need of serious reconditioning. Paper Money, or Fiat as some may call it, was created as a control mechanism to turn entire populations of the world into Loyal Debt Slaves (The way I see things, the Fiat currently worldwide doing a really successful job at doing just that).

But I know that You will now ask how were the masses conditioned to believe something as utterly silly as Money is the root of All Evil, right? Ask, and chances are that You shall receive. As I mentioned before, people can be conditioned/re-conditioned via repetition(In layman's terms: Simply doing something over and over again every day)to believe anything the Educational system wants the people to believe. I'm very serious about this, I mean that people can be programmed to believe literally anything that would benefit those in charge of the Educational system, simply by hearing anything repeatedly.

But of course, the power of repetition goes much beyond that. It's not only possible to have people believe that a hazardous substance in small quantities is in some way beneficial, it's happening as I type this article(It's called Fluoride, it further decelerates brain function and limits thinking). Oh, and it's not limited towards Fluoride or anything hazardous either. Through repetition, it's also easily possible to have people believe that Money is Evil and being rich is a major sin. Using repetition in such a manner allows those in power to severely reduce competition by literally turning those whom wish to conform against those whom have a real desire to better themselves, thus having the two forces then fight against each other, all for the sheer amusement of those whom created the whole mess to begin with, simply by having people repeat negative affirmations to themselves and everyone close to them!

Simply put, Money itself is actually neutral, it all depends on the intentions of those whom use it. But I'll say this right now: The best(And pretty much only)way to help others(as the vast majority of them are poor), is to simply not be poor in the first place!

Money - The Root of All Evil

We have a saying in our house when it comes to money - "Mom is 'el broko." It's not necessarily true all the time, but it helps my children understand that mom is not made of money, nor do we have a money tree growing in the backyard. Like most, my kids are expensive. They are not greedy kids, nor do they beg me for something in every store, but they cost me a pretty penny.

This month alone proves my point. Beyond back-to-school supplies and clothes, we had dance registration, school fees, cub scout signups, soccer fees (and supplies), and pediatric and dentist checkups. Needless to say, the well is running dry as summer vacation slowly comes to a close.

I truly believe the old saying that "money is the root of all evil." Without it, we become stressed, worried, panicked, and sometimes, even bored. While millions of people are struggling to make ends meet, I've spent the summer trying to show my kids just how lucky they are to have what they do - kicking off our at-home work study program.

Because my son is a miniature Alex P. Keaton and my daughter has her eye on a laptop computer that I refuse to buy for a 10-year old, they jumped on board. Beyond typical household chores, we found "work" for them to do this summer. My son helped clean out the shed and trim overgrown weeds in the backyard while my daughter helped me with online research. They kept a timecard and worked for $5 an hour with Friday paydays.

We were really pleased with the program - the kids worked hard, enjoyed collecting their paychecks, and seemed to gain confidence. They learned that money doesn't come easy and that hard work is important for both personal and financial success.

My 9-year old son, though, found his success a little too liberating. After checking his wallet yesterday and gloating about the $25 he has left, he promptly informed us that he is ready to quit. "I'm rich now," he said. "But mom is still 'el broko."

Is Money Really The Root of All Evil?

Is money evil? Many people think that money is not spiritual and materialist - why is this? What are your beliefs? Are they even your beliefs at all?

This is a subject that I have been battling with for a long time now. Coming from a poor background and being surrounded by poverty for a large percentage of my life, I have certainly picked up a great deal of negativity around money. However, I keep thinking more and more these days... why do people belief that having no money is spiritual? Why are we holding ourselves back from fulfillment and freedom by believing that lack is good for us?

Ask yourself this... Do you agree that having no food and shelter is spiritual? Is it spiritual to have sections of society with no homes and no warmth? Did you know that the biggest cause of marriage breakups and ill health is a consequence of financial worries and stress? How are we supposed to help those less fortunate without the flow of money?

Money gives us the ability to be free... to live a life of ultimate freedom! I argue it is 'not' spiritual to live a life of worry, stress, depression and bad health because you cant pay your bills, pay for clothing, buy healthy nutritious food and keep up health insurance payments. How is this spiritual?

It makes me wonder.... Are we doing each other a huge dis-service by spreading the word that people with money are greedy? That money is the root of all evil? That money is not important! Who told you this anyway and why do you believe their view so much?

I'm not saying money is everything but what money represents is pretty damn important!

With money comes freedom! With money comes choice! With money comes health! With money comes experiences! With money comes opportunity!

Now let's reverse the analogy that money is not spiritual for a moment!

Imagine this... You give 10% of your overall income per month to charities of your choice. You no longer worry about paying your bills and keeping a roof over your head. You are able to eat food of your choice... fresh meat, fresh fruit and fresh vegetables. You no longer need to live in a place full of pollution... you can live in the beautiful countryside or by the sea. You no longer worry about how you can pay your health insurance or those wonderful trips worldwide that enable you to experience different cultures and grow from the inside out. You can get massages on a regular basis and go out for dinner and go on dates. You can buy the books you love and attend courses and classes that inspire you.

Tell me now that money is not spiritual? Tell me now that money is the root of all evil? Why is it that only people with no money tend to belief these negative points about money anyway?

We are supposed to live a life of happiness, abundance, success & fulfillment. A life packed with incredible experiences and creations. And what is even more ironic is that spiritual teachers tell you this. Abraham Hicks, Donald Walsh (Conversations with God), Joe Vitale, John Assaraf... I could go on and on and on. All spread the beauty and importance of abundance, prosperity and wealth... in all areas of your being!

Do yourself a favour and begin to feel worthy of all you desire! Open yourself up to receive everything you want... freedom, wealth and prosperity. You can give, give, give... all day long and every day of the week, but if you are not open to also receive... you will create resistance and there will be a lack of flow in your life and the world.

Feed your soul with rich experiences, with incredible organic food, with an environment that supports your health and with wondrous experiences.

Money is the root of all evil.

You sometimes hear people say negative things about money and for the most part these are the people who have none.

Some people will tell you that money can't buy you love. While this is true, it is a ridiculous statement. Love is an emotion, not a product available at the local grocery store. Do people who say this believe that you think you can actually buy love? Are they just expressing negative feelings for money because of their lack of it?

No matter what people say about money, the fact remains that is a vital part of life today. Money remains the only standardized trade for goods, services, information, personal debts and travel.

Without money you can't properly educate yourself. You can learn the things you are capable of learning or expand your awareness.

Without money you can't afford to eat the food that properly nourishes your body and gives you energy and vitality.

Without money you can't spare the time to properly exercise or have the amount of leisure to relax and put your mind at ease.

Without money you can't spend any considerable amount of time doing the things you love, and this is vital to your sanity.

Without money you can't travel and experience or understand a variety of cultures and societies.

Are all these things evil?

No they are not. In fact it would be hard to imagine having the lack of happiness in the presence of the things listed above.

The fact also remains that the good you can do on this planet is strictly limited to your presence, without substantial financial backing. I am not telling you that you shouldn't personally help people. I am saying that while you are personally help people, the money you have could be traveling the world building schools and hospitals, food banks and recycling plants. Your money could be researching the cure for diseases and making advancements in solar power and bio fuel.

Are these things evil?

I think people would be amazed how much free time they had if they weren't worried about money. Free time they could spend doing a multitude of things that would leave the planet in a better state than it was before they arrived.

Are any of these things mildly wrong? So who could call them evil?

The Love of Money - Root of All Evil?

I'm sure even if you are Bible scholar or not, you may have heard something like "Money is the root of all evil". In actuality that is not correct. Correctly it's worded, the love of money is the root of all evil. Let's think about that phrase for just one moment. What if you love something or somebody you have an emotional attachment to it. The funny thing is we can get emotionally attached to things that will neither receive our emotions nor will they love us in return. I remember I had someone who worked for me once that was assigned to manage a particular product for our company. Now the product had problems that were not the fault of the person who this was assigned to but every time a complaint came in about the product this person became very defensive.

 

After talking to this person that came to my attention that this person had become emotionally involved with the product. They had done everything that they could make this product work properly and it still did not work properly. Every complaint or attack on the product became a personal complaint or attack to the person. In other words they were emotionally involved. Once I explained to the person that the product would not love them back and any complains were not a personal attack towards the person involved, this person could see things in a different light. They were then able to handle complaints in a proper manner without feeling personally attacked. But how does this relate to money?

 

What do you know to not every decision that you make will involved money. Will you buy a new car? Can I afford it, will probably be in that conversation before you purchase the car. Do you feel pain when you have to make a payment on something? If you feel emotionally involved at any level when you have to deal with money then you need to reevaluate whether or not you are not emotionally attached to money. Have you ever noticed that a lot of people make very poor decisions to save money. Also a lot of people make very poor decisions to the money into their pockets. These are all signs of that saying, the love of money is the root of all evil.

So here's my challenge to you. Find out how emotionally attached to money you are and start doing things to become less emotionally attached. Remember that money is like an elusive girlfriend this seems to flee when you want her the most and returns when you show little attention to her. Be responsible with your money but don't be a slave to money. One way to tell money that you are the boss is to start giving more to your favorite charities. In the beginning you feel the pain of giving away your hard-earned money as soon you'll discover that it's not so bad.

Is the Love of Money the Root of All Evil

In society, money seems to be considered a necessary "evil" and religions have often used the phrase that "the love of money is the root of all evil". But why would something inanimate like money be the root of all evil?

It's got to do with how we as people, transfer our power to this medium of exchange. We're born with no real understanding of the abundant nature we are and so from the moment we arrive, we gather data to work out how we fit in with this world.

At some point, we work out that having money enables us to experience bigger and better things. And so the innate desire for expansion, desires more money to have that freedom to experience whatever is in the heart to experience.

But then we also gain an understanding that people have done bad things at times to get more money and so we grow up with this conflicted feeling within us.

On the one hand we want more money, but on the other, we may either need to take advantage of others in some way or be seen as a person with lower morals to get it.

This line of thinking is what happens unconsciously from a young age that then shapes the way we feel about money and those that have money as we become adults. But what's the truth?

1. Money is neutral, it's neither good or bad

2. People get lost In thinking that money will give them something more than it's actually designed for (like happiness for example)

3. People then place a higher value on money than the relationships with other people

4. The people close to the ones that are caught up in the money trap then think that money is the issue and that money is what's causing that person to behave in an evil or uncivil way

5. It's the thinking and interpretation of money that has led the person to take actions that may be less than compassionate towards other people.

In summary, the purpose of money is to be a mechanism where we can exchange one thing of value for another, in an easy to use form, it's not to make us happy or otherwise. The accumulation of money can be done in honorable ways or dishonorable ways, it all depends on your beliefs around it.

And finally, rather than the love of money being the root of all evil, I would say that to be ruled by money, or anything else for that matter, is the root of all pain. It's only when you realize your true nature and that you can have whatever is in your heart to experience in a way where not only you benefit, but everyone involved benefits, can you find the freedom to live a life that is truly joyous.
